About me
Hi! I'm Ángel, a full-stack developer from Cantabria, Spain, with over ten years of
professional experience building software for consultancies and product companies.
Throughout my career I've had the chance to work across very different industries —
from automotive and insurance to legal-tech and pharmaceuticals — which has taught me
to quickly understand new business domains and focus on solving real problems rather
than just writing code.
One thing that has remained constant is the trust people have placed in me. I've been
fortunate enough to work more than once with former managers and employers, gradually
taking on more ownership and becoming involved not only in development, but also in
technical discussions, planning, code reviews and product decisions.
I still enjoy learning every day. Whether it's a new language, a different
architecture or simply a better way to solve a problem, I believe there's always room
to improve — and that's probably what I enjoy most about software development.

Entelgy Consulting, S.A.
| Technical analyst
I'm currently part of an international team, working exclusively with the Nordic
branch of one of Entelgy's clients. I've contributed to both internal tools — such as
a user tracking platform — and the company's flagship product, a legal-tech solution
used by its customers.
Working across different teams has given me the opportunity to broaden my perspective
and continuously improve my way of building software. Beyond writing code, I've become
much more involved in code reviews, feature discussions, technical decisions, and
collaborative development, while also strengthening my day-to-day communication in
English.

ITEISA Desarrollo y Sistemas S.L.
| Full-Stack developer
A few years later, I returned to ITEISA after the company reached out to me again.
Thanks to my previous experience with many of its products, I was able to quickly take
ownership of ongoing projects, complete existing developments, and help kick off new
ones.
This second stage gave me the opportunity to expand beyond backend development, taking
responsibility for both frontend and backend work while becoming more involved in
technical planning and project estimation. It also allowed me to contribute to
technical decisions from an earlier stage, not just their implementation.

Sport2Fit International S.L.
| Full-Stack developer
After working together at Punsset, the company's manager invited me to join Sport2Fit
for a new stage of the business. It was a great opportunity to work again with someone
who already knew my work and trusted me to help build new products from the ground up.
During my time there, I helped launch an online automotive magazine, developed the
Spanish website for a tyre manufacturer, and maintained software focused on padel and
rally competitions. The role combined product development with close collaboration
across several projects, giving me the chance to work in very different domains within
a small team.

ITEISA Desarrollo y Sistemas S.L.
| Full-Stack developer
I joined ITEISA as a backend developer, working mainly with PHP and CakePHP in a small
but highly versatile software consultancy. Every project brought a new challenge,
giving me the opportunity to work across different industries and quickly become
familiar with each client's business.
Over the years I developed a wide range of custom solutions, from pharmaceutical
ordering platforms and insurance management systems to business applications, web
scraping tools and internal utilities. I also contributed to maintaining the company's
own website and occasionally provided technical support for hosting customers, which
gave me a broader understanding of the infrastructure behind the software we built.

Punsset (now MotorK)
| Full-Stack developer
Punsset was where I started my professional career after completing my studies. What
began as my first job quickly became an opportunity to grow from the newest member of
the team into a trusted developer contributing to products used by car dealerships
across Spain and Portugal. During my time there, the company grew rapidly and was
eventually acquired by MotorK.
I mainly worked with Ruby on Rails and JavaScript, developing and maintaining the
DWS and SalesTool platforms, focused on
helping dealerships manage and sell both new and used vehicles. As I gained
experience, my responsibilities grew as well, taking me from customer support and
issue resolution to coordinating the daily production deployments of the platforms.
Looking back, this was the role where I discovered Ruby, learned how software teams
work, and built the foundations that have shaped the rest of my career.
